Organisations partner with Stone & Chalk to receive assistance with shifting their internal culture, to collaborate commercially with scaleups and develop internal innovation capability.

Raise the capital required to turn your ideas into action. Since 2015, Stone & Chalk startups have collectively raised over $500m+ in capital investment. We have developed an exclusive investor community to encourage, activate and increase investment opportunities.

Stone & Chalk has developed an extensive investor community which includes angel and high net worth investors, venture and corporate venture capital funds as well as a suite of other strategic investors. A core ingredient to our success has been our programs aimed at encouraging and activating more Angel Investors from within Australia’s existing population of High Net Worth Individuals. We regularly run skills studios through our investor partners, listen to propositions, provide valuable feedback on pitch decks and guidance to help you become investor ready. Stone & Chalk’s investment network is global and we have successfully supported companies to raise capital in markets across countries such as Japan, Singapore, US and the UK.

Our signature Stone & Chalk MentorMatch™️ Program encompasses an impressive pool of mentors, carefully chosen and then matched to your specific growth needs, providing a trusted sounding board and facilitating introductions to attract the right customers, investors and talent.

We also provide you with access to consultations on a complimentary basis with highly-experienced domain experts and run regular skills studios exclusively for our startups. Our experienced Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) provides bespoke guidance to our resident startup community by helping Stone & Chalk Founders accelerate and reach national and international markets as the in-house startup business expert and highly-experienced startup domain expert. The EIR is responsible for offering ongoing one-on-one personalised guidance, coaching and invaluable advice for founders at all stages of their business lifecycle. The EIR will be a trusted sounding board, and will help facilitate key introductions and further opportunities to attract customers, partners and investors. You also benefit from the expertise we gather for the benefit of residents, through our impact network, sharing expertise in support of several government agencies and associations.

TALENT TO TRANSFORM TEAMS

We’ve pioneered a special program that creates internship opportunities matching top university students directly to high potential startups like you.

Our intern program has so far seen close to 1,000 students apply from universities across Australia for placements directly into our startups. Stone & Chalk provides a range of services to support access to talent, including discounted access to recruiters to support with team culture and international visas. We run a regular program called Fintern Fever which gives university students an opportunity to intern with a startup. During these events, over 120 startups/scaleups, students of different nationalities, mentors and industry observers take part in productive speed networking sessions to find their match.

Stone & Chalk were one of the earlier supporters of Refugee Talent who could see the potential of what we were creating and the social impact it would have.
